L
ast week was pretty amazing! I only had school on Monday and the rest of the week was the long waited thanksgiving break. I am telling you, going to school that is 35 min away three times a week can get old. I am at the limit of my absences so a little break was super fun. So here is the breakdown of the last week:

MONDAY was a school day. I had my Building Codes class that many say is boring but to me it is pretty entertaining. We were presenting our codes project (fire exits, fire rated walls, evacuation plans, and etc). After my class I usually go home to start thinking about what to make my hubby for dinner! I have recently really been into cooking from recipes rather than making stuff up (which is fun as well). However, because I was already in Denver, I switched my French class with Leila from Friday to Monday. French class??? Yeap, I have been taking French for a little over a month now! It is so fun to learn a new language… fourth one you guys! Fourth! What language should I learn next?

TUESDAY was my lazy day. When I mean lazy, it is super lazy. I texted Frederick several times asking to tell me that it is ok to relax and watch tv! I get a bit anxious about just sitting around sometimes. I started a new show called “Deffchonki”. It is a Russian girly tv series about four best friends and their life in Moscow… very light and the best part– in Russian! I love hearing Russian language– makes me feel comfy.

WEDNESDAY was errands and shopping day for all the yummy food we were going to make for Thanksgiving. Originally, since we were staying in CO alone for Thanksgiving we decided to go out to a nice Chinese place and order a pecking duck… Whoever said Chinese places are open on American holidays were wrong. It was going to be closed.  I also made a chicken pot pie, jalapeno corn bread, and Greek-lemon chicken soup. Why? Because cooking is so fun! oh and eating too… and then sweet treadmill time.

THURSDAY my hubby was off from work! Honestly, that right there made my day. I love spending time with him. We made Cornish hen, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes w/ marshmallows, mashed potatoes… oh and stuffing. YUM!

FRIDAY got an email from Warby Parker!! They wanted to know if I would be ok with them featuring one of my photos in their promotional emails to customers! WHAAAA! Yeap, that made my day! Holy cow, Warby Parker is my obsession… speaking of which, I ordered the the new Baker glasses in Glacier Grey!

SATURDAY we took our little pup (MurÏ) for a nice walk! We went to explore the area next to us and it has this huge field that normally is covered in long grass but this time it had snow all over it so it was easy to walk through it. I even brought a sled with me to slide down the steep hills! Thank goodness for snowboarding gear I bought last year.  Snow pants are the best… Murï loved jumping in the huge snow piles. Such a funny little dude.

SUNDAY was a homework day. It was not that much this time though. A few peer reviews on their analysis papers and voila. In the evening we went to church. It was nice because it was a special service where people could come up and talk for three minutes about what they were thankful for…

And there it is. Last week today!

Until next time,
