Bonsoir my lovelies!

Last week was quite a big mess but still ended up being pretty awesome. Nothing major happened until Wednesday… I was on my way to school and my car started flashing an engine light and then shaking… long story short– my car died, I ended up in the gas station (it finally started up but would not accelerate beyond 5 mi/hr), bought some snacks because of boredom, found out that the beef jerky I got (I know, what was I thinking) had sodium nitrite in it after I already bit off a chunk… gross.  Note to myself: read the labels and really don’t buy anything at the gas station.  Ended up seating at the shop until 11am and missed school… FAIL

Thursday was a bit mellow… no car… I watched my Russian TV show all day.  Attempted to do some homework but really was not feeling it.

Friday I drove a rental car and presented my project at school… it was a small one– finish and furniture analysis (basically a spec sheet).  After the class, I met up with Leila and we went over the verb “to have”, “to do”, and some other random topics.  French is really awesome. Leila made a lemon meringue pie and I got a few other French pastries from the La Fillette bakery.  Really, a great day!

Next week is my last week of school!!! TWO WEEKS OFF from school and then it is back to the grind– 18 credits! I can do this right?
