How is it possible that my little one is already 8 months old?
With every day, I notice more and more of new things she does. She picked up a habit to always scrunch her nose while making ridiculously funny sounds. Or today she crawled all the way to the hallway by the laundry room and started to play with the door stopper thing. Next thing I see her do is to take off the white tip of the door stopper and put in her mouth (talk about choking hazard)!!! How does she think of the things like that? I took off all of the white tips from the door stoppers. Then she found the broom and entertained herself with the dog hair on it.

The one that worries me the most is her climbing the crib. So many times she stands up, moves a little back and forth, smiles at me, and lets it go– sometimes hitting her head on the other side… How do I stop her from doing that? Saying “no” obviously doesn’t work– she just giggles back at me and does it over and over again.

Oh and yesterday, she went on the second hike of her life ( the first one being at 2 months). She kept her hat on the whole time! I love being her mama!
