Our little living room taking on a cozy rustic feel. It is so nice to come home and relax in this room. My favorite part is the bookshelf which I think is quite ironic because I’m not a big reader… I just love all the colors coming together and creating a nice atmosphere to the space. And can I brag about the sofa? It is literally the most comfiest sofa in the world. Murï, our little doggie loves taking day long naps on it…. Aghmm and me too.

Can I just say that I am the luckiest girl in the whole entire universe? So many things have happened for the past few months… a reason I haven’t posted in a while.
So far my blogs are very airy about makeup, clothes, food, adventures.. fun stuff.. not so serious. Today though I have something heavy on my mind.. Something that I often find myself thinking about. Something that I wish was different. So here it goes guys, a very first spill of my heart… probably will not be the last one.
Friday is here, FRIDAY IS HERE!! Finally!!! Today I decided to take my forgotten bike for a walk.. for a ride? I’m walking my bike.. you know like a cute little puppy.. Anyways. Took the Boulder Creek bike path and did a mini selfie photo shoot.. definitely got some weird stares from bikers and people who walked near by… but who cares.. I like pictures.. plus I got some new moccasins. my first pair! They are so comfy.. like walking on clouds.. My bangs are growing out.
This past weekend was super fun… Mom was able to come visit. Shopping. Getting some girl time. I got my first Vince Camuto shoes!!!! Cannot hold my excitement. Unfortunately they gave me little blisters on my toes… Maybe I can get one of those gel things to make them more comfy… BUT there is a saying- beauty hurts… or something like that. Ahhh shopping is my addiction… shhh it’s my secret.. or it was.
Last night I bought a new pan, crêpe pan. I made some crêpes for dinner’s dessert. They were delicious!!! This morning I was thinking of making crêpes again, but remembered how much work it was and got a bit lazy so made a Russian version of buttermilk mini pancakes… without the buttermilk.. I honestly do not know how much I used of everything but it is very simple…so I will try to write down the recipe:
Rainy days are the best.. I mean what there is not to love about the rain? It has been brutally hot for the past couple of months here… But today it is 62 degrees! Sixty-two! I even put a sweater on.. ahh big cozy sweater… I have forgotten how it feels to be cold.. and then being warm! The best feeling ever. Hah, my cat is being funny as always.. Today he has me to look out of a window with.. It’s funny how he moves his head up and down as the rain drops… I wonder what he thinks.. I’m sure it is something like “oh I wonder how I can bite Olesja’s leg again without her getting a hold of me” or “oh look, a bird, yummy yummy bird.. now how can I move this screen to catch it…” I’m telling you the struggles of a house cat…
So with all this rain I’m going to tell you my favorite things to do on a rainy day…
1. White Color
White color instantly adds brightness to any space. The space becomes visually larger. I love how free and fresh it becomes. It feels breathable and soothing. White walls, white coffee table, side tables, sofa, lamps… everything can be in the tones of white. It frees your mind from the clutter of crazy colors.. it lets you breathe.. and breathing is good.
2. Fresh Flowers
Flowers have something about them that just brings live to the space. The more “I just went to a field and picked flowers” they look the better. They can be bright or in more calmer colors. Depends on what is your mood.
